I admit it, I’m a millennial – and what gives me the fall, cozy vibes that I love every year – WB originals of course. Whether it was saying hello to Dawson by his Creek or spending the night at the Dragonfly Inn run by the infamous Lorelai Gilmore, these shows make me want to dive into a sky high pile of leaves. For those of you, who like me, love the Autumn, love boutique shopping, and love to top it all off with a stop at the local pub – these B&B’s bring you right into the center Stars Hollow. Walkable downtowns, familiar places to grab a snack, and tons of fall foliage lining the streets.

First up, is the Alden House B&B, right in the center of what was named “The Coolest Small Town in America”, Lititz, PA. (Pronounced Lit-itz). And we must say, this is the coolest small town. Right outside your doorstep, you’ll find some of the best shopping, bakeries, historic sites, and more. The Alden House gives you a front row seat – and a quite nicely furnished seat to boot. These bright and fresh rooms against the backdrop of rich woodwork and historic touches brings an elegant aura to your stay. The front porch is lined with chairs to take in the scenery and people watch as shoppers and locals stroll by. Catch the Alden House on a weekend where a mainstreet festival is in town, and get the best of the festival without having to worry about parking.

“Wonderful location, wonderful hosts, wonderful trip! The Alden House is located right on the main street, with the shops, restaurants, and historic district only a few steps away. We were there to celebrate my mother’s birthday, and the hosts made our stay and her birthday extra special. I would definitely recommend and stay there again!” (5 Stars – Sandy F.)
“We absolutely love the Alden House. We’ve stayed many times, and love the Tea Rose Suite with the gas fireplace and balcony. This visit was a bit cold and windy, so we really enjoyed just relaxing in the room a bit! Brian and Jeff are always so accomodating and make us feel so welcome! The breakfast is deliceous and just enough to start your day! We love that you can go to the dining area and make coffee or one of the many selections of hot tea any time of day. Candy, cookies, the local paper, bottled water and sodas in the fridge are complimentary! There is a little traffic noise during the day, but almost nothing at night….its very quiet and the bed is very comfortable! We never hear other guests. Shower has very hot water and good water pressure. The place is very clean. Being an old house, some of the floors squeek, but that’s the charm! The location is extremely convenient to walk the town and leave your car in their parking lot. You’re right in the middle of things! The back patio or the covered front porch are wonderful places to relax with a glass of wine or a good book after walking the town!! We highly recommend this place! You won’t be disappointed!” (5 Stars – Linda B.)

“We had a wonderful experience staying at the Limestone Inn. Rick and Denise were great hosts, very welcoming, and pointed us to great places to eat which would not have otherwise been on our radar. Their Inn was beautiful, located very conveniently to all the places we wanted to visit during our trip. Our room was very nice and the bed was very comfortable. Denise prepared a fantastic breakfast each morning, precisely on time, enabling us to maximize our time exploring. Overall, very quaint, comfortable, and relaxing stay. “An early American home that has been preserved and converted into a B&B by Chris and Bonnie. Originally run by a British expatriate, the couple really makes you feel at home. There are also some lovely reception rooms. All the rooms are spacious and clean. Chris & Bonnie really make you feel like you are at home. The American breakfast is a real treat. There are not a lot of restaurants and bars in Marietta but the ones that are there are fun and everything is reasonably priced. I am really glad that I came to the Ascott House but am sad because I don’t know when I will come back to this pretty town and the Ascot House again.” (5 Stars – Paul H.)
“Bonnie and Chris did a great job welcoming us, showing us around and making us feel at home. The house is elegant, charming and comfy. There were 10 of us in total, and everyone was delighted with their accommodations. People really enjoyed the Jacuzzi tubs. The beds were very comfortable, and the linens were wonderful. We had come together as a group of neighbors that meet on a regular basis to serve our neighborhood and wanted a different environment to reflect, study and plan together – and the Ascot House was the perfect place for the job. Bonnie and Chris were very supportive in assuring we had the perfect place (both the patio and the library) to gather. We also enjoyed gathering at the dining room table for games on Saturday evening.
The garden is a beautiful and magical place with lots of pockets, tables and paths, and twinkle lights at night! It was the perfect place for my morning coffee!
Walking down the street is such a treat if you enjoy the whimsy and charm of lots of vintage planters and decor. We enjoyed the Riverwalk and got to see an eagle and a herring. Some of our group went to the Amish Market during a break and bought some delicious snacks.
Most everyone in the group said they are planning to return. It would be great to have more time to soak up all the history and the gardens in of the area.” (5 Stars – Alison E.)

“We loved our time at this beautiful B&B. The owners/hosts Diane and Scott warmly greeted us when we arrived and were attentive and responsive to every request during our three-might stay. My room was quaintly decorated, immaculately clean, and with a comfortable bed. The breakfasts were delicious. We recommend highly.” (5 stars – David S.)
“This is an amazing place! Very reasonable rates. The house is absolutely gorgeous and the host are absolutely amazing. The layout of the home was unique and the history was intriguing. The breakfast was delicious every morning and there no need for lunch after eating the huge breakfast. The room was immaculate. The beds were very comfortable and if we had forgotten anything the host would have had us covered. The rooms decor was beautiful as was the entire home. The landscaping was beautiful and the pond out back was awesome. The grass was so so green and thick. Diane’s gift shop was awesome! We were there for a mother daughter antique shopping trip and the house is centrally located to all the great antique shops. Also located close to the Amish community. I cannot say enough good things about this B&B! We will definitely be staying here again in the future! Would recommend to anyone!” (5 Stars – Sandy M.)

“Charming, spacious, and ideal location for a romantic getaway. And the bed in room 202 was SOOOOO comfortable! Loved that live music / trivia night goes on within earshot of the patio.” (5 Stars – Sarah C.)
“I stayed 1 night at the Litiz Springs Inn and Spa. The lobby was very quaint with a sitting area. I loved the room set up with the sleeping area then a sitting area with a desk then the bathroom area. The room was very clean and smelled fresh.
The staff is outstanding. I forgot something, in the room, that was very valuable to me. They found it and mailed it to me. They took the time to package it in many layers of wrappings to make sure it arrived unbroken. I’m filled with so much gratitude 🙏Thank you I would definitely stay at the Inn again. They also had dining areas inside which was more formal, a bar earache and an outdoor sitting area.
Just an amazing place!!” (5 Stars – Mary Ann B.)
