“While this place has a middle of nowhere feel it is actually just a short drive off of Old Philadelphia Road (PA340) on Newport Road (PA772). You are literally a half of a mile from Kitchen Kettle Village in Intercourse. The place is clean and quite and the rooms are wonderful. We stayed in the Basket Suite and what strikes you first are the high ceilings not typical of hotel rooms. There are three distinct spaces, the entry room has a sleep sofa along with kitchenette and dinette table while not being crowded. The middle room has a large vanity and a separate room with toilet and shower. The bedroom had a queen bed in a basket bed frame hence the name. Also included in the bedroom is a jetted tub and gas fireplace. While there is a DVD/VCR and TV there is no cable. You are in Amish country so not a sacrifice and as they say when in Rome. There is WiFi but we chose not to use any electronics except the BOSE CD/Radio. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were very friendly so don’t be fooled the Amish are not standoffish simply polite. I highly recommend this place when you need a place to stay, we will be back.” (5 Stars – Jeff S.)
“Upon driving up to the place it was on a quiet street near a quilt shop and a small merchant across the way. The front porch area was very clean and nicely decorated. The main lobby felt very grand and inviting. The entire property was so well maintained and decorated. The quality of the finishes were second to none, especially in the room we stayed in. Attention to detail was everywhere and we definitely noticed that compared to most places you go, even higher end hotels. Our Basket Suite had everything you could need. It was split up in three separate areas, which made it seem even more spacious. There was a sitting area when you walked in along with a mini fridge, then the bathroom area where the sink was outside the shower, and finally the bed area with a fireplace and whirlpool tub. The room was immacuately clean with nothing out of place. It was very warm and cozy. The high ceilings were nice and the pictures online really didn’t do it justice to how nice it was. In the morning we enjoyed the breakfast that was self-serve down in the main floor. They had some hot food selections along with fruit, cakes, toast and cereal. The coffee machine was tricky but from top to bottom you have a button for cappuccino, regular coffee, and double shot espresso. It felt like eating at home with the quiet setting and open tables. Our room was so nice and we aren’t sure if we would book the same one or stay at another one of their suites. We loved our stay here and would definitely stay here again. Based on the quality, comfort, hospitality, location to nearby shops, and value we highly recommend this place.” (5 Stars – JD)

“Twin Pine Manor is awesome! Took the Mrs. for our 25th yr. anniversary never knowing nothing about this place aside from the reviews and what you see online. What a gem!!!! The Tower Suite (largest room available) was spectacular! 2 floors, private outdoor access to a deck, 2 fireplaces, and the bathroom is amazing! The hot tub looks like if it was prepped for a Hollywood movie it was so invitingly beautiful. The service, was great and the breakfast, I can’t say enough about, my wife is 100% vegan and our 2 lovely hostess went above and beyond to make sure she was happy with her meals. Let’s to do in the area, so a perfect place for a get-away!.” (5 Stars – Rob S.)
“Twin Pine Manor is a beautiful B&B nestled in the heart of Amish Country Lancaster PA with themed rooms appointed with period decor and furniture. The landscaping and grounds are beautiful and the entire property has multiple areas to sit outside and enjoy the beauty overlooking lush farmland. They recently completed a 1.1 mile walking path comfortably laid with fresh mulch around the adjacent fields. The great stopping point is a single tree with a piano still playable with a sitting bench to relax and yes, our wives enjoyed playing it. There is also a piano on the two story vaulted fireplace room with windows from floor to ceiling and a great place to play games or enjoy spirited conversations. The most important attribute is the very hospitable, accommodating and kind host, Brenda! she also prepares a delicious 3 course meal each breakfast. She’s an absolute delight and made our stay so enjoyable and as soon as bookings open up for next year’s “Joshua” play at Sight & Sound Theatre, we’ll be booking our next stay. You will not be disappointed” (5 Stars – Rick M.)

“Our stay at The Amethyst Inn was wonderful! The Inn is elegant yet down-to-earth, filled with antique and cheerful touches. Our room (The Garnet) was comfy and cozy, aided by a gas fireplace and a Jacuzzi. More importantly, our hosts, Kimberly & Dave and their family, were most hospitable and accommodating, making sure our stay was pleasant. And every morning at 9:00, Kimberly serves her unique, amazing homemade breakfasts which include fresh fruit and muffins, local breakfast meats, and Kimberly’s signature dishes, such as Dutch Baby Pancakes, Egg Soufflé, and Baked Pears. All in all, The Amethyst Inn is excellent, the vibe is very warm and welcoming, and the breakfasts alone are worth the visit! We will definitely be back.” (5 Stars – Michael B.)
“I found this “Gem” searching for a B&B near ShadyMaple Smorgasbord to spend our 30th wedding anniversary. I can’t even begin to say how lovely this place is We stayed in the Jade Room with a gas fireplace which kept us toasty and had a jacuzzi which was wonderful! Kimberly, the hostess is so sweet and very attentive. She makes a wonderful breakfast which I can’t say enough to describe how delicious the food was. We bought the add-on package of champagne and chocolates which was even more amazing by Kimberly’s personal touch. Thank you Kimberly! ♥️ I highly recommend this little “Gem” to anyone looking for a warm, friendly, comfortable getaway!!” (5 Stars – Christine F.)

“We have stayed at the 1777 Americana Inn B&B several times and we love it! We stay in Tranquility cottage. It is a lovely 2 floor “apartment” with a hot tub and a fireplace. It’s very romantic. The breakfast is always amazing. They owners are super nice people. I just can’t say enough good things about them and their lovely B&B! They also own Black Forest Brewery which is right outside your door. Their location is perfect for shopping, drinking and eating. There are many other breweries in the area, so if you are a beer lover this place is really for you. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!” (5 Stars – Bill B.)
“Such a charming place! We loved that the Tranquility Cottage had a private entrance. The fireplace and jacuzzi tub were a great bonus! And our favorite part was that the Black Forest Brewery was just a few steps away. Great beer and food. Thank you Bob & Denise! We will definitely come back again :)” (5 Stars – Stephanie H.)
“I booked the Tranquilty Cottage very last minute for one night and I feel so blessed that we were able to be accommodated. The service was exceptional – with a smiling face greeting us at check in and breakfast the next morning. The cottage was absolutely beautiful and romantic and the jacuzzi was to die for. I have already decided that we will definitely be returning for future romantic evenings in. The breakfast was delicious in the morning with fresh fruit waiting for us and the everything bagel sausage egg and cheese bake coming out minutes after we sat down. Truly a quality experience and worth every penny spent and more. Thank you for the absolutely lovely experience!” (5 Stars – Megan B.)

“Kim and Jason are the warmest, most welcoming hosts. We loved every minute of our stay! This B&B is cozy, charming, and very clean. The vibe is relaxed and welcoming – we ended every night in the living room next to the fireplace eating homemade cookies. The epitome of why we choose a B&B over hotels – it feels like a small corner of home. Everyone RAVED about the brunch both mornings – it was like being at a 5-star restaurant right downstairs. We will definitely be back soon!” (5 Stars – Ainsley M.)
“My family and I stayed in this beautiful, cozy and warm bed and breakfast for just one night, yet it felt like we were there for days. The place is immaculate, the beds are very comfortable, all the rooms with fireplaces really add to the warmth and comfort this place offers. Our hosts, Kim and Jason were so kind and friendly, aside from great cooks! Had a delicious gourmet breakfast that they both took part it! Talk about double cooking talent! Kim made a delicious frittata in a muffin pan with mushrooms topped with fresh chives and a side of fresh berries. Then ,Jason came out with homemade French toast made with croissants filled with cream and strawberries with a side of crispy bacon. To die for!!! We want to make this a tradition every year now. Both my kids live far away, so this was all in lieu of Christmas gifts this year and they loved it all! Thank you Kim and Jason for such a wonderful experience! ❤️❤️ Oh and can’t forget the tasty homemade chocolate chip cooks and the charcuterie board!!!” (5 Stars – Marissa C.)
