“My husband and I were looking for some place cozy to stay for 3 nights so we can celebrate our 10-year anniversary and so glad to have found After Eight Bed & Breakfast. After Eight Bed & Breakfast is now our favorite location that we will continue to use for each visit we make to Lancaster. We were promptly greeted by Robert upon arrival who was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. He gave us a tour of the place before showing us to our room. As Robert was providing the tour, I noticed how beautifully decorated it was for the fall and how clean the place was. We had the balcony room, which was very clean, provided a comfy bed and beautifully decorated with a lovely view of the garden. Even though Robert made it a point to show us where the cushions were for the chairs on the balcony, it was just too cold to enjoy the view with our morning cup of coffee. Each morning, we were treated to a gourmet breakfast that was both delicious and beautifully presented. After such an amazing breakfast, my husband and I were always on the go. I did notice however, between running in and out, in the dining area, there was always something available to snack on. He also has a refrigerator with sodas besides a Keurig always available. What other host does that or cares that much about his guests need? I highly recommend this bed and breakfast. Robert, you are the most thoughtful and gracious host. Thank you for your hospitality. We will see you next year since I already have my room booked at your place. See you in 2026!” (5 Stars – Anne A.)
“A beautiful home away from home! I can go on forever of how wonderful our time was here. We had the most beautiful Christmas weekend in Lancaster and this location was beyond a genuine highlight for our time. Robert and Lewis were incredibly kind and welcoming. The rooms were clean and cozy, and I fell in love with all the Christmas decor. It truly made me feel I was home. Breakfast was the best I have had and location is peaceful and stunning. This was a weekend we will never forget and a beautiful memory for my boyfriend and I’m first Christmas together. Thank you and we will be back for sure!!” (5 Stars – Andrea V.)
I have to admit, I’m a little biased when it comes to this one. (Especially after having managed it myself for many years). This 19 room Inn is unique in so many ways. From classic loading rooms to large multi-bedroom cottages, is Inn has space for the whole family. Each private room or suite, you’ll find hidden behind or above shops in Kitchen Kettle Village. Breakfast is served at the Harvest Cafe, where a refreshed and refined menu offers guest the best tastes of the Village. For veteran Kitchen Kettle shoppers, staying at the Inn is the upgrade to your experience that you need to try!

“My mom and I visit every year for our special mother-daughter weekend, and we had another fabulous experience! We received such a warm welcome upon our arrival, and our room was absolutely perfect. Great care was taken to make sure everything we could possibly need was provided. Breakfast at the Harvest Cafe was wonderful- everything was prepared with the freshest ingredients. The shops in the village featured a great variety of products. We purchased many of our favorite food items, olive oils and vinegars, handmade soaps, and home decor items, as well as holiday gifts for family and friends. We love visiting Kitchen Kettle Village, especially during the fall season. The grounds are well cared for, and the fall foliage is magnificent! Thank you for all of your hard work.” (5 Stars – Karen C.)
“The Kitchen Kettle Inn is right out of a Hallmark movie. I am not sure what else to say besides, my family thought we were getting to live in a holiday movie. We stayed in a two bedroom suite with amazing views of farmland and the Village itself. The sights, the sounds and of course the food were all perfect. The front desk staff was top notch and even gave us a call to let us know we left a very nice pair of binoculars behind in our room. I can not say enough about this amazing property, besides come and see for yourself!” (5 Stars – Ryan G.)

“This is one of the best B&B’s my husband and I have ever been to. The owners are super friendly, the rooms and grounds are beautiful, and the breakfasts are outstanding. This was our first stay here and we chose the Garden suite. It was worth every penny. All the details were attended to and we were made to feel like we were at home. Breakfast was always on time and made-from-scratch delicious. It is also just a few minutes from Sight & Sound Theater and many other attractions. Highly recommended.” (5 Stars – Raquel M.)
“What a GREAT place to stay! We celebrated our anniversary with a trip to Pennsylvania last week. We couldn’t have picked a better bed and breakfast. The Master Suite was amazing – very spacious, warm and comfortable. The bubble tub in the large adjoining bathroom was so pleasant following a snowy cold day! We can’t say enough about the innkeepers, Jadon and Gina. They truly have the gift of hospitality and know just how to make you feel welcome and at home. Gina is a wonderful cook – we stayed two nights and both breakfasts were outstanding. They offered sodas and snacks in the kitchen area, with a variety of teas and coffee available all day. I’d give this place 10 stars if I could. We will definitely return for another visit with “family”!” (5 Stars – Sharon B.)

Bird-In-Hand Village is a family tradition for so many, both locals and travelers. In fact, I remember many a family holiday meal shared at the Bird-In-Hand restaurant. And that family tradition has blossomed into a Village of shops (including the old farmers market next door). For those who want to forget about parking and just walk to all the excitement, Bird-In-Hand has many lodging options available – especially the Village Inn & Suites. These comfy rooms bring you right to the heart of the holiday festivities with special Holiday shopping activities throughout the month. Don’t forget to check out their restaurant for classic amish and mennonite cooking, and after why not catch a show at the Bird-In-Hand stage? Playing now is “The Christmas Candy Caper” and “Ryan and Friends: A Christmas Caper” For our shoppers and their families, this is a perfect place for a girls weekend or family getaway.

“OMG! I can’t believe how beautiful this place is. It’s an old inn built in the 19th century and has been beautifully preserved since then. It belongs to the Smucker family, yeah, the ones that make our breakfast jelly. 😋 The rooms were absolutely romantic, large and had everything you would expect from a stay at a regular hotel. This place was nothing but spectacular. Loved the talks with all the personnel and left with a desire to come back asap. Love from Germany!” (5 Stars – Thomas H.)
“Very lovely Inn. Enjoyed our stay at The Desmond House. Comfortable and beautiful furnishings and well done decorating. Everyone was very friendly and kind, making it even better. Breakfast is very good, beautiful gathering room. Was nice having breakfast and hearing the clippity clop of the horse and buggies on a Sunday morning. Has a front porch with a sitting area where we spent time relaxing and watching for horse and buggies. Must have seen 10 or 15 on a Sunday morning within 20 mins. Looking forward to staying again and experience another unique room.” (5 Stars – Karen L.)
This traditional B&B is located in the sweet spot between the Lancaster Outlets and downtown Lancaster City. Located in a suburb just outside of downtown proper, A New Beginning B&B gives you easy access to the dazzling city streets dotted with historic buildings lit up with strings of light for the holidays. Wander the boutique lined streets for artisan crafts, food, and coffee. (Our favorite right now is Building Character – a collection of local artisans and craftsman selling their hand made gifts and vintage items.) Stay in one of A New Beginning’s four B&B rooms – including one suite- all with private bathrooms and experience a traditional B&B with Lancaster County Hospitality.

“My wife and I had an unforgettable stay at A New Beginning Bed and Breakfast. Al and Denise are truly exceptional hosts — warm, welcoming, and genuinely interested in their guests. From the moment we arrived, we felt more like friends than travelers. The conversation at the breakfast table was one of the highlights of our trip. Denise has a gift for hospitality that goes far beyond providing a room — they create a space for connection and meaningful conversation. The breakfast itself was excellent — beautifully prepared, delicious, and served with care. Our room was cozy and comfortable, and we appreciated the thoughtful touch of a fan, especially during the warm evening. Their attention to detail made our stay relaxing and enjoyable.
We left with not only great memories but also a sense of deep appreciation for their kindness. If you’re planning a trip to Lancaster, don’t miss the opportunity to stay with Al and Denise. We’re already looking forward to returning.” (5 Stars – Daewon K.)
“My husband and I stayed here and it was WONDERFUL. We had never stayed at BnB before, but the location was amazing and the breakfast reviews made us decide to give it a go! We stayed in the Americana for two nights. Denise and Al took such good care of us from the beginning. They reached out after I made the reservation to make sure we were all set and what plans we had for the area. Upon arrival, they offered plenty of things for us to do. The room was great for the two of us. A soft bed with SO MANY PILLOWS it was fantastic. We also loved having the ceiling fan. Denise also gave me a snack the last night we were in the house so she won my heart!
If you’ve never tried a BnB, this is an amazing one. If you are an experienced BnBer then you will love this place even more. Go ahead and book your room now… you know you want to!” (5 Stars – Kathryn C.)
